jessica williams may have a fairly common name but she herself is quite unique. she has climbed her way up the improv/comedy ladder to land some coveted roles. jessica is the first black female correspondent on the huge satirical news program, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." she brings her brand of funny but more importantly, the truth when it comes to exposing ignorance. "i love being a black woman and being able to say those things. there's truth in comedy, and that resonates with people of all races..." (motherjones 12-2013) jessica williams is also guest starring on the hit HBO show, "Girls," a program known for its blatant lack of diversity.
ms. jessica williams is a clever, young star on the rise. we all wait with bated breath to see what wonderful projects she'll take on next.
